Phil Economopoulos named Archon

On October 30, Phil Economopoulos, a steward, member of the Annunciation Cathedral, was installed as Archon of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. Archons constitute the Order of St. Andrew, which is headquartered in New York. The Order defends the interests of the Mother Church, both in this country and abroad. A native of New Hampshire, Phil and his wife, Nancy have two children, John and Jason. They reside in Montara. Phil is senior vice president of investments, initially, of his own company and, now, in concert with Raymond James, and has advised the Cathedral and the Cathedral Ladies Philoptochos on investment matters. He assists the Metropolis, as well. A low- key kind of individual, Phil is motivated by his strong faith, and his willingness to work (often, behind the scenes), to strengthen the Church. The Cathedral congratulates Phil on this singular honor. Axios!
