One of the greatest blessings of our Cathedral community is the presence of children and youth who are growing in faith, learning the teachings of the Church, and discovering what it means to live a Christ-centered life.

As we continue to grow our Religious Learning Ministry, we are seeking both families interested in participating and volunteers interested in helping nurture and inspire the next generation of Orthodox Christians.

Through age-appropriate lessons, discussion, service opportunities, and meaningful engagement with Orthodox Christian life, we strive to help our youth understand and live their faith. Similar to successful Orthodox catechetical programs throughout our Archdiocese, our goal is to support families in raising children who know Christ, participate in the life of the Church, and develop a lifelong relationship with God. Together, let us help our children grow in the knowledge, love, and life of Christ.

Parents & Families:

We are currently gathering interest and demographic information to help us plan and organize our Religious Learning Ministry for the coming year.

If you have children who will be in Pre-K through 12th Grade this Fall, we invite you to complete the Parent Interest Form. Your response will help us develop age-appropriate classes, plan staffing needs, and keep your family informed as additional details become available.

Volunteers & Teachers:

We are seeking faithful and dedicated volunteers to help nurture and inspire our youth.

Parishioners with experience in education, teaching, child development, youth leadership, or classroom instruction are especially encouraged to participate. Professional experience is not required. What matters most is a love for Christ, a commitment to the Orthodox Faith, and a willingness to help our children grow spiritually.

Volunteer opportunities may include:

• Leading or co-teaching a classroom
• Assisting with small group discussions and activities
• Helping organize service projects and special events
• Supporting substitute teaching needs throughout the year
• Mentoring and encouraging our youth through your presence and example

Training, curriculum resources, and ongoing support will be provided.
