With great joy and gratitude, we invite you to join us on Palm Sunday, April 13, 2025, as we come together to honor a beloved shepherd of our faith and community. Immediately following the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy, we will dedicate the Courtyard of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation in honor of Reverend Father Stephen H. Kyriacou, the 10th Proistamenos in the Cathedral’s over 100-year history.
Under Father Stephen’s guidance and leadership, our community emerged from the devastation of the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake and built the wonderful grounds we now cherish. He helped lay the foundation—both spiritually and physically—for the construction of our new Cathedral. It is only fitting that we dedicate this sacred space in his name, as a tribute to his years of unwavering service and love for our Church.
Following the dedication, we invite you to a festive luncheon in celebration of this special occasion. The luncheon is co-sponsored by the Cathedral Ladies Philoptochos and the Ministries of the Cathedral, with all proceeds benefiting the Building Fund to continue the vision of our new Cathedral.
Luncheon Details: Date: Palm Sunday, April 13, 2025
Time: Following the Dedication Ceremony
Cost: $40 per adult / $20 per child (12 & under)
Let us gather as one community, in faith and love, to honor Father Stephen and his lasting impact on our Cathedral and its future. We look forward to celebrating with you! Please reserve your spot prior to April 6, 2025 by clicking here.
