What is Elpida?
Elpida is a youth program new to the Annunciation Cathedral that focuses on family, faith and community. We are committed to keeping the Orthodox faith alive while building a strong integrated curriculum. Elpida focuses on the education of the whole child: spiritual, academic, physical, social, and emotional.
Lessons will be taught with a hands-on, project-based learning style that layers principles of STEM, sensory and tactile modalities, language arts, history and art while promoting collaboration and teamwork.
All our lessons are aligned with the religious standards of education provided by the Archdiocese. Our goal is to get kids moving around, having fun and learning about our beautiful Greek culture and Orthodox faith.
Where will Elpida meet?

Why should your kids join the Elpida program?
COVID-19 was/is difficult on our children and our families. Many children feel anxious, overwhelmed and isolated. Community is more important now than ever!
We know you’re busy. It may feel or seem impossible to add one more item to the list. Elpida is designed to cater to our busy, commuting families. Elpida is once a month for about an hour.
It is known that it takes a village to raise a child, let Elpida be part of your village.
