The Annunciation Cathedral is happy to announce its new JOY ministry! JOY (Junior Orthodox Youth) is a nationwide program geared towards middle school age kids, connecting them to their faith and their churches through social, service, and spiritual activities.
For now at the Cathedral, our JOY will meet virtually until it is safe to welcome our kids back for in-person activities. Our virtual meetings will be discussion-based conversations designed to get the kids talking and thinking about their faith and how it applies to their lives. All sessions will be rooted in one of three focuses: Faith, Culture, and/or History. We hope to keep regular virtual meetings with our middle school kids going until it is safe to bring them together in person for social events and the like!
